I still think you want to do your best to remove the remains of the zotero OO.o extension completely. It might also be hiding in your local directory "C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\OpenOffice.org\3\user\uno_packages". You m…

This is a developer's question & may be better served in the developer list. You'd need to update system.sql and zotero.properties, per http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/data_model What does the 'company' of the book refer to? Why can't you u…

If I understand correctly, the itemFields.label variable could store that information and that would not cause any conflicts. At this time, there is no 'label' that is intended to be used as a local identifier. There is a 'label' in the schema, but i…

WebDAV syncing is only for file attachments stored in the zotero data directory & not for linked files. But yes, having identical zotero.sqlite files should retain these links. Re. sync on multiple machines, yes: http://forums.zotero.org/discu…

i've modified the documentation.

The easiest would be to migrate to a webapp that is zotero-compatible and that can import BibTeX files. If you wish to keep the current setup, I'd suggest that you implement unAPI (so that you can use the BibTeX files that you have as-is).

v. 2.0a2 (for the Zotero 2 beta) shows the version. I do not believe the extension for 1.0 shows it.
-
Do you have specific questions after reading http://www.zotero.org/support/make_your_site_zotero_ready

I don't know why zotero files, alone would be problematic. Could you have had all problematic files open at the same time? Or used them on a computer that you didn't use the working files with? There are several posts in the OO.o forums on this. …

Abiword can work with RTF, so the rtfscan feature in Zotero 2.0 could be used. As Dan indicated, any AbiWord CWYW plugin would probably be volunteer-contributed.
-
No need to cross-post. Zotero 2 has rtfscan.

Just a note that the markup is also contained in the exported file. The file specification predates HTML & I'd expect that most reference managers to import it according to the spec (garbage in->garbage out). Zotero will eventually have ric…

The document is corrupt and probably cannot be fixed (it is likely filled with 0s). Do you save it to an external or networked drive or have anything else that may cause it to save slowly? Restore from a backup. Here is where auto-backups are sto…

Does the OO.o extension manager show that the extension is gone? If you don't use other OO.o extensions, you can delete your uno_pacakages directory (e.g. c:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 3\share\uno_packages) & all traces of the zotero OO.o ext…

You should probably try to get Zotero to work on a local drive. The error you pasted is not a zotero error.

@sebayat: Why was BibTeX inadequate for data exchange for you?
-
There isn't much to go on here, so I'll throw a bunch of questions at you & perhaps this will help. Which version of Word? Has it ever worked for you? Do the OO.o plugins work for you? Are you certain that there is not a zotero dialog box th…

AFAIK, Google Scholar only provides given initials. You'd need to use another site to obtain full names.

That may or may not be the same error as refother (who didn't include any output). You have a file locking issue. Refer to: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/7488/cant-add-delete-or-edit-items/ http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/6559/there-was-…

Exporting data is not recommended for backup: the identifiers of imported references are different than those in the original database. See: http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#how_do_i_back_up_my_zotero_library

On the abstract page, a lot of info is stored in dc/prism metadata & perhaps we should scrape that instead of scraping in-page content (which is what is used now).

Tags are already synced, as you should see if you synced a second copy of zotero. Not all information is viewable in the web-based "My Library."

Note that is almost certainly a copyvio. I didn't get an error, but note that the file is a whopping 1.4 MB, not including images.

Lots of reports for this. Wait for the translator to be updated. As a work-around, use the site's "export citation" w/ RIS+abstract.

What I would like to know is whether I can have two profiles, one with Zotero 2.0.b5 and one with Zotero 1.0.10, each profile containing the library file in appropriate format, running safely on the one computer?Yes, but why? 2.0 should offer the s…
