I'm late to this discussion but I've experienced this behavior, too. Until today and reading this thread, my solution was to exit Zotero and restart the program. The fix that works for me without exiting the program is the one suggested by @rowanred…

Another one: Zotero recognized Montgomery County (MD) public library catalog entries as "books" prior to latest release; now they're "web pages." Link from last search: https://mdpl.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/catalog/search/detailnonmodal/ent:$002f$…

@bwiernik Sorry, that's the only URL returned when a document is selected.

@bwiernik I thought that I did earlier: https://search-proquest-com.dclibrary.idm.oclc.org/docview/152576426?accountid=46320

Yes, the behavior occurs on other Proquest databases. Here's a link to one of the articles I tried to save earlier: https://search-proquest-com.dclibrary.idm.oclc.org/docview/152576426?accountid=46320

Thanks for the workaround suggestion. Yes, the browser connector works with JSTOR. That was the first thing I checked ....

Thanks dstillman. I've been using the standalone version since its first release. I went back into my archives to locate a PDF generated directly from a report. Though I can't attach the file here, I can past the page header generated: "zotero://rep…

Yes. After trying to resolve the issue several ways with the document I was writing I created new documents from scratch, using different templates and different styles and trying different sources (citation) the problem persisted. Finally, after ad…

I'd be happy to send another Report ID if the current sync operation (begun when I sent my last post) ever concludes. I have 995 items in my library (my sync options are set to data only) and the sync icon is still spinning away giving me a mouse-ov…

Dan, I think your server problems may be more entrenched than previously thought. I shut my system down for an hour and after rebooting I read your responses to folks experiencing similar problems. I have tried to sync several times and the error(s)…

I've had no luck since last week. I just tried again and this is the error message I received: [JavaScript Error: "The service is not available. Please try again later." {file: "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/sync.js" line: 2112}] [JavaScript Error…

Thanks.

Yes, it has happened with each sync since the last Zotero version was released.

No luck with anything produced by Citation exports. The closest I've come to getting anything useful from Citation to Zotero is downloading an Endnote eval version, importing the Citation file and exporting it to RIS for import into Zotero. It's a m…

Refer output creates a file that stalls the Zotero import and generates an error messge. After I clear the error message I'm left with a slew of bad entries that I must delete before restoring my Zotero database.

Citation exports a bad RIS file: No ER- tags and there's just too much junk created from notes, tags, etc.
