OK, so I left it alone for the weekend, then enabled automatic syncing again and now Zotero Standalone freezes when I leave it for a few minutes. I have checked the data direction location and it appears to be in the proper place. Does anyon…

OK, I will try letting it go and then syncing it and seeing what happens. I did check and the data directory is in the proper place. Thanks for all the help! I'll check back in....

I have not (to my knowledge) moved the data directory (nor do I know what that is), ad I do have the 4.0.11 version of Standalone. But disabling the sync function worked well.
