Hi Frank. Thanks a lot. I use a customised version of the Zotero AGLC3 style (which handles repeated references slightly differently - ie, properly - and supports foreign citations which I have been adding as required). Could you clarify whic…

Worked around it (most unsatisfactorily) by using Alt+0160 in place of one of the spaces in one of the case titles...

Perhaps there is a way to stop MLZ ending a cite with a full-stop, so I can put two cites next to each other in the one note, separated by a semicolon, circumventing the parallel citation logic?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I am having the same problem (in MLZ) but with distinct legal cases with the same name, but different citations (first instance, and appeal, both decided in the same year). This is by no means unusual, and I am su…

The problem I have with ZotPad is the errant commas that appear everywhere in the location (citation) metadata for cases :/

Out of interest, do you use one of the iPad apps? If PaperShip, do you notice the problem with case names (no title shows up in the sidebar, nor does any other metadata, so it's impossible to tell which is which)? They just appear as a long series…

Hi Frank. Thanks for the reply - I did some experimentation and noticed this. I did also see the Extra field. Not pretty, but does what I want perfectly so I'm definitely not complaining. I didn't realise my Firefox was actually that old…

Hmm, I am pleasantly surprised that I don't even need to modify the Word fields I added via Standalone. How is it that the references update when I modify in MLZ if they use a different local library? Interesting... Unique identifiers set in the …

Is the 'storage' folder + all sqlite files a complete library backup? Thanks for all your help, by the way.

Thanks. Worked. So ideally (based on what the MLZ website says), it should be safe to sync the MLZ library with my Standalone, but I still need to keep two separate local libraries?

I get "Zotero could not load the component needed to communicate with your word processor" when I try to use the plugin with MLZ :/

Forgive my ignorance, but how do I run this in parallel in a new profile? I have only used Zotero Standalone, never a Firefox plugin. I installed the MLZ plugin but didn't let it upgrade my existing database, since I don't want to mess with that. …

This looks interesting, but I hesitate to change horses mid-stream, since it looks like MLZ has been incompatible with Zotero for some time now, and I don't really want to reconstruct my databases... I also have spent a fair bit of time modifyi…

Perhaps a good change would be to let the mini cite plugin search all fields in the same way as the old-style?

It was EndNote (lol). Classic. Thanks.
