Thank you!

Good to know, thank you!

thank you, dstillman! 1) Yes. I tried the same with only one monitor: no crash. With a second monitor: crash. 2) With a second monitor attached, I disabled all plugins, and it did not crash. 3) I have enabled plugins one by one, and Zotero Tag 0.…

Ok. Thank you!

Hi @mvasilak Thank you for your help. I checked to make sure that my Zotero version is up to date. It is. Then I downloaded the file again to try and reproduce the crash. It did not crash again. If it crashes again on the same document, I will let …

And here is the crash report from the Console app: ------------------------------------- Translated Report (Full Report Below) ------------------------------------- Process: zotero [2011] Path: /Applications/Zotero.a…

Thank you. I have a MacBook Pro, 14-in, 2023, with an M2 chip, running macOS Sonoma 14.0. And the strange thing is, now it doesn't happen anymore (after repeatedly crashing upon the stated activity). If it happens again, I will send the Report ID.

Thank you for your help, it worked! Problem solved. :-)

Thank you! I did find a note with that search term. I copied the attached note's content into a new note and deleted the original note, and emptied the trash. My iPad is not on me currently, so I will check when I get home whether it solved the prob…

Hey! Sorry for not getting back to you earlier… Will send this email now! Cheers and thank you!

Interesting, thank you. How do I know when the ongoing sync is done to retry? (The green sync arrow on my laptop Zotero app is not swirling currently.) I just logged the same again, in case it's already better: D1835329110 (The issue still persists…

Just noticed that I never thanked you for your answer! So sorry. The answer is highly appreciated. Thank you, adamsmith! I will directly write to IISD about this. Maybe they will put more info in their metadata in the future.

Hey dstillman! Thank you for the quick answer. Sorry for only getting to it now. Which PDF shall I use? I do not see a link or file.

Thank you!

Thank you, will do!

Hi! Sorry, I noticed that I made a mistake. It simply does not save the URL at all. 1.) I am using Firefox. 2.) My configured proxy has the following scheme: %h.libproxy.newschool.edu/%p 3.) Absolutely, here you go: D200845830 Thank you!

This is so good to hear, thank you! And thank you also for your continued work on this. Your efforts are highly appreciated, knowing full well that these developments take a huge amount of work and time.

Now I get it, thank you! So if I notice this error happening again in the future, I will see whether I can recreate it while logging a debug. Thank you for your help!

Sorry if I was not clear. The item did sync after I changed it. (And there are still at least two unchanged items which do not sync. I guess if I changed them, they would sync.)
-
Right, the Debug ID D120758207 is from debug logging that was started before I changed the item. I started logging on iOS, then changed the item online, then synced my iOS app, then stopped logging. If you want me to try something else, I have two m…

Hi dstillman - no worries. I appreciate the help! I have several items which did not sync, so I was able to try these four ideas separately: - after changing any field in the parent item on my laptop, sync with iOS worked, - after changing any fiel…

Thank you! I might be wrong, but don’t think that this works in this case here because the files simply are not there—neither the parent file nor the pdf show up. When I search for the file on the iOS app, it is as if it didn’t exist. With no entry…

...and for some reason it has resolved itself now. (It seems that another issue was connected to it. After resetting the file sync history, which was recommended for the other issue, also this issue seems to have been resolved.) All problems are so…

ok, thank you!

Thank you! Yeah, while I am very happy to learn a bit more in terms of coding, this might be a bit too technical for me still. Here's an example of a specific article which does not import as expected. Should I just post it here, or should it go so…

I believe I have the same issue as described above. (And this is why I am not starting a new thread.) In my case it is the online newspaper Financial Times: https://www.ft.com/ Every time I save it to Zotero, it treats it as a "webpage." Is there a…
