As long as there is no highlighting of search results, it will be of limited use to search in Zotero

I do not know which field the search term to search so I set to "everything". That would return lots of hits but ony a few of them contain the search term. This is particularly annoying since there is no highlighting of the search term

I forgot to mention that Z works on any page in FF but not in Safari

Restarted the computer. Now it works. FireFox needs not the Stand Alone version, maybe it is what you mean by "online version" Those two are identical in content.

Z indicates saving the World Cat (or other pages) but where is it saved ? It is not in Z My Library (sorted by date)

Z Extension is installed. I see a Z icon on the URL bar. On hovering says: Z is offline. The icon is greyed. Not clickable

You mentioned Safari Connector, Zotero Extension and Stand Alone Zotero. I am quite perplexed.
