You are absolutely correct, I had it unticked on my first attempt and it hadn't worked then so I assumed it had to be ticked for the red bar to show up. Tried it just now after rebooting everything and it worked! Thanks for the help

That's odd, I had to go through the Zotero app to select a study, the citation was placed correctly but the red bar is nowhere to be seen. I tried restarting and I have also attempted using in google docs and word with no success. Classic Add Citatiā¦

It actually did pop up a couple times alongside the Zotero app except it wouldn't let me type anything, it was just a solid red bar. I retried a couple more times and the red bar has now completely disappeared. Here is the debug ID: D934828475
