There is nothing in the server's log files showing any access at all at that time so it looks like some kind of proxy or web filter on that network. I'll dig into that the next chance I get. Thanks so much for your help.

I just ran a test to see if I could reproduce the problem. I manually created a very long tag. It did not reproduce the original condition, only the state I was in after deleting the first tag. And the sync button brought up the wizard as you sugges…
