• Thank you so much for all of your help! I think we will just manually fix the bibliography to remove the duplicate numbering before we submit the proposal. I will note this for future reference so we avoid the problem in the future.

• Is it possible to edit the existing document to remove enforcement of numbering? I've copied the text into a new document but there must be embedded formatting that carries over, as the duplicate numbering is still occurring.

• Thank you! - Word for Mac (Version 16.88) - National Institute of Health Research style - Using the Zotero plug-in - If I create a blank document the duplicate numbers do not appear, but need to use the existing document.
