• Same thing happened to me. However, after reading this thread, I closed all windows and applications. Before restarting the PC I made one last attempt to restart Firefox, and voila' Zotero was back running properly.

• The page you posted shows it should be at C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\\zotero However, there is no C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\ folder in my PC.
