• I seem to be a moving target....i have now been able to upload my library and all attachments. I will be importing more PDFs and trying the process again, and will report if anything else acts up.

• i seem to be a moving target...i have finally emptied my trash. I did a full reboot of the computer, which might have done the trick. I will be importing more references today, and will pay close attention to my trash and what happens.
