Hi, any news on this issue? I am stuck in the old LO interface because of this issue of the Zotero plugin. Thanks.
-
I got the same error. Refreshing the googledoc solved the issue.
-
OK, thanks for the explanation.

'Review article' might be a bad translation from French. The problem happens with this reference: https://scholar.google.fr/scholar?q=ahn+brook+siple+2014&btnG=&hl=fr&as_sdt=0%2C5 Steps to reproduce: - save it using zotero within…

Me again. Actually, the option works when one exports the bibliography from zotero, but it does not work when one uses the LibreOffice plugin.
-
Actually, looking more closely, this option should work for review articles also from what is said. But in my case, it does not work and I don't know why. My zotero version is 4.0.29.10.
-
The problem is that when I download the references from the web (e.g. from scholar.google.com), they are classified as "review article", not "journal article". So I would like this option to apply also to review articles.

I have the same problem than the original poster: for scientific publications (like EGU journals), I don't want the "date accessed" and "URL" fields to be displayed. This is not asked by these journals. Why does Zotero include them? How to remove …

I have encountered the same feature request than the original poster (mronkko): having field prefix and suffix, in addition to reference prefix and suffix. The comments have developed into a completely different problem: suppressing parentheses, a…

Actually, it was really the same reference used twice, hence this behavior. So this is not a zotero bug.
-
By the way, it is strange to have this URL option for references including page ranges, and to let the citation style decide for the rest. This seems like inconsistent.
-
Strange, I desactivated the URL option for item with page range, but I still get this one (this is a book chapter): Blayo, E. and Debreu, L.: Nesting ocean models, in Ocean Weather Forecasting, pp. 127–146, Springer. [online] Available from: ht…

No, I really have only one of such references. Again, I can provide the .odt file and my zotero database if needed. Why is there no attachment facility on this forum?
-
I tried to create a simple abbreviations.json file in my data directory, as: {"info":{"URI":"http://www.zotero.org/abbreviations/default.json","name":"MEDLINE + Title Word Abbreviations"},"default":{"container-title":{"Climate of the Past":"Cli…

Your solution does one part of the problem, although it is not clear how the merge feature works (when fields are different, which one is chosen?) It would be also interesting to have the other aspect, ie importing into the database references whi…
-
An option to desactivate this proposed feature would allow for easy collaboration.
-
It is not clear how the abbreviations.json file is structured. One would expect a simple two columns text file with the complete journal name in the first column and the abbreviation in the second column.
-
I noticed that 'Climate of the Past' is abbreviated in 'Clim.', which is wrong (correct one is 'Clim. Past').

Imagine you have entered the reference "by hand", and then you remove this reference and import it using scholar.google.com. Zotero will not detect that the new citation is similar to the old one and propose to use it. Mendeley does have such a …
