It's interesting that I have 2 lists of 34 references in the List of Figures section. Zotero must know better than me at this point anyway...

Yes the figures heading is messed up. I have the original format so I can just manually replace that to normal. I did that in the copy document and 31 references were re-added. The ones found in the "List of Figures" section of the original documen…
