Enter it in Extra like this: Issued: 2016-02-31/2018-01-02
-
@adamsmith It looks like adding CSL `number` to Chicago the same way it's used in APA would be a good idea.
-
If the box is checked, it will include a URL for paper articles (as the name implies). If you change your item data to have no page, but enter Number: 15 in Extra, does it show up?
-
It would likely be considered if they submitted a pull request to https://GitHub.com/Zotero/translators
-
The CSL style includes the URL. Be sure you have the “include URL for paper articles” box checked in the Cite pane of Zotero preferences
-
It would be best to let Zotero handle the importing here if possible. What is a URL for the case law site? You might also consult the Indigo Book, a compatible reference for US legal citation. This website shows how to enter items into Jurism for e…

There are a few steps you need to follow to move between GDocs and Word/LO https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/moving_documents_between_word_processors
-
https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/existing_citations_not_detected Generally this means you are saving the document in an incompatible format
-
Have them enter their annotations in the Extra field, then generate the bibliography using the APA (annotated bibliography) style.
-
There is an “Are you sure?” dialog box. Based on this very rarely coming up on these forums, Users very rarely click the button inadvertently.
-
On there plug-ins page (https://zotero.org/support/plugins) there are three plug-ins that can pull in citation information from various databases.
-
Can you describe what errors there are that need to be fixed here in this thread?
-
The Zotero app does not currently have an Undo function. That it’s on the menu is an artifact of the Firefox platform on which Zotero is built.
-
Like was said above, LibreOffice doesn’t have a facility for automatic formatting of references that Zotero could use. Note that you can drag items from Zotero to Impress to insert static citations quickly without manual typing. You might consid…

On the storage usage page, click the Purge Storage link to clear out your Zotero server space.
-
Don’t insert live citations for those. Insert static citations the same way.
-
You can’t currently have more than one live updating bibliography in one Word document. That’s planned (including for cases like yours). For now, I suggest using the Word plugin for your main document citations, then creating static bibliographies …
-
I’m not exactly sure what you mean. Do you want a separate bibliography for the sources of your figures and for the cited items in your document?
-
Colored tags (https://Zotero.org/support/collections_and_tags#colored_tags) can be used for this.
-
I don’t think you will notice
-
It sounds like the data downloaded very incorrectly. You should carefully check it.
-
The major downsides are you won’t be able to access files from the zotero.org web library, and it’s a little more fragile because it depends on an outside sync service.
-
What URL?
-
Hi, it’s the end of my semester, so I’ve been a bit swamped with work. Hoping to get to this soon.
-
What citation style are you using?
-
If you want to use Dropbox, option 1 here is pretty straightforward to set up https://www.zotero.org/support/sync#alternative_syncing_solutions We can help you can that set up if you have questions
-
I would use Statute for EO/PO generally. If you have trouble figuring out how to enter, can you say what style you are using, how the citations appear, and how you’d like them?
-
It sounds like you are manually styling your text rather than using Word styles. Change the “Normal” style in Word to match the formatting you want.
-
I suggest a platform other than Dropbox https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/webdav_services

There is already a pref to disable automatic metadata retrieval. So, for users just using Zotero as a PDF manager, presumably that is off and they would only ever invoke any of these options by clicking Retrieve Metadata. In that case, going directl…
