Il y a cette autre version de la style avec crochets: https://www.zotero.org/styles/vancouver-brackets
-
Yes. Use Vancouver
-
For the colored tag emoji to appear next to the item title, they need to be just 1 emoji. Windows+; on windows to bring up the emoji menu. The Globe key on macOS to bring up the emoji menu.

Can you give a bit more detail about the categories? Like primary sources vs secondary sources? It’s not currently possible to manually partition a bibliography in the word processor plugins, but you could adapt your citation style to sort by categ…

@emilianoeheyns Is that something BBT would prompt?
-
Yes, just change the file name to .YAML in the YAML header
-
RStudio defaults to .bib, but you should definitely change the file type to either .json or .yaml. Pandoc will convert the BibTeX back to JSON/YAML anyway, but this conversion is lossy and will tend to produce incorrect citations for unusual items
-
Double click on the library name to open it on the Zotero website. Then change the name in group settings
-
What journal is this for?
-
I don’t think it matters one way or the other. Citing the author seems appropriate to me
-
I would personally enter it as a magazine article and omit the authors (in most styles, this will mean the article is cited by title).
-
All that said, in my experience this isn’t something that most journals or reviewers are too concerned about. So, so long as the information is there, it’s not that big of a deal. damnation will look into improving the style, but as an author I don’…

They are almost exactly the same. In My Library, in addition to syncing PDFs and other attachments in Zotero’s online storage, you can also sync them using any other cloud storage service that offers WebDAV support or you can link to files on your c…

Report is what is general used for such items
-
Oops. Sorry about that. It's fixed now.
-
Mendeley has also had many incidents over the years of deleting users data without notice, not supporting the current version of macOS for months, and not fixing longstanding bugs
-
Just to reiterate comments above—you can already do this for applications like CVs by putting the author last name in tags
-
Okay, the APA style is updated. It should appear in Zotero automatically in the next 24 hours, or you can install it immediately from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citation-style-language/styles/master/apa.csl
-
In general Zotero tries to import lower case titles properly. However, if a title comes from the publisher in Title Case or UPPERCASE, Zotero leaves it in title case to avoid lowercasing proper nouns. You should the titles in your data after import…

I see. Zotero has updated its field mappings for the new version of Citation Style Language. I need to update the code for the APA style for that version. I will try to do that at least to correct the event information in the next week or so.

If you search that text in the PDF itself (that is, open the PDF either in Zotero's reader or another PDF reader and search for the phrase), do you get any hits? It might be that the text is not correctly recognized in the PDF itself.

@bwiernik: I think you left something out here? Sorry, that was earlier draft of what became my comment about castMember, etc. We could add some special logic here if we have to, though it's not ideal Okay, in that case, let's just map it always to …

Use this style https://www.zotero.org/styles/apa-numeric-superscript-brackets
-
You can do something like this using colored tags. Add a tag to an item to indicate its importance, then right click on the tag in the tag selector pane and choose Assign Color. This will add a little colored square next to the title in the item lis…

No, there isn’t a way to horizontally scroll columns, sorry

See here for how to enter a symposium item in Zotero https://www.zotero.org/groups/2205533/test_items_library/collections/MR2N872S/items/6C7Y6LNU/item-details But note that you should use “Chair” in Extra now, not “container author”
-
Hmm, I think it would be best to map Performer for Audio Recording to `author` and only map. The `performer` CSL variable was intended mostly for things like actors in a play or film, which are occasionally cited. (So, eg, a Cast Member creator for …
-
The DOI isn’t stripped, it’s stored in Extra and appears in citations. A proper DOI field will be added to all items when item types and fields are updated in an upcoming Zotero version. DOIs from Extra will be migrated automatically
-
You can also just copy and paste the citation in your document
-
The creator type in Zotero is “Contributor”. These types of contributors are sometimes cited as “with Freud, A.” in the bibliography, but this is unusual. I would personally recommend just omit them
