This is just a book. You can add the compiler to Extra like this: Compiler: Last || First That will appear in citations for styles that are updated to support this creator type (not many yet)
-
Would it be possible for there to be a setting to save the HTML page in addition to the PDF that could be enabled for accessibility needs but defaults to off?
-
Yep — sorry, that’s the Zotfile attachment menu, Manage Attachment
-
I think that makes sense. Especially with the Unpaywall integration and other sources of PDFs.
-
You are selecting Zotero’s native rename option from the right click menu. Select the rename option from the Zotfile part of the right click menu to use Zotfile’s rules. Note that if all you are using are author, title, and year, you can also custom…

@dstillman CrossRef also stores DOIs in uppercase so if folks are pulling data from CrossRef and not lower casing it (I think the CrossRef translators and DOI Manager both do), that could be another source of uppercase DOI data
-
What exactly do you mean by “import”? What are you trying to do? Feel free to write in German if that is easier for you.
-
You can use Extra or tags for this. A Citation Key field like is used for citing in BibTeX or Markdown will also be added in a future version. If you put your keys in Extra like this: Citation Key: Jones2013 Then they will migrate to the proper f…

Yes, you can do this using
-
Enter the DOI in Extra. This is the accepted interim solution.
-
Do you have an example of what you mean?
-
Does restarting Zotero fix the issue?

It’s possible to bold an author last name by putting tags around the name in your Zotero data. That would apply to all styles using the item.
-
Yep, using the Locate menu in the upper right corner of the window https://www.zotero.org/support/locate
-
Don’t export. Just set up syncing from the Sync pane with the same account on both computers. https://Zotero.org/support/sync
-
Book or Report would work fine I think.
-
You can use colored tags, which will let you use the number keys on your keyboard to add them. I suggest making the tags the 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣4️⃣5️⃣ emoji, which will show up as such in the item list.

MDPI does not require DOIs in its citation style. The style in the CSL without the repository is correct. https://www.mdpi.com/journal/arts/instructions
-
It’s the File menu. The directions you were reading were for Word 2010. Can you give the link to those instructions?
-
In Zotero preferences, in the Cite pane, check the box for “Include URL for paper references”
-
Zotero and Juris-M use the same citation processor, so if you didn’t need to set up anything special with the item data to make this work, you can just use the Jurism Indigo Book style in vanilla Zotero and it should work
-
Did you just set up Computer B? If your library is large, it may just not have finished downloading all the files yet. Let it finish its initial sync or to get the file right away, change your settings in the Sync pane of Zotero preferences to downl…

That isn’t really APA style to use such an abbreviated citation like that. The more APA-like approach would be to cite it as something (Heidegger 1934/1997) where the first date is the original publication date. The original date can be entered in E…
-
See my post above. CSL supports an ‘event’ type.
-
APA manually doesn’t have one, but I think it would be better to include one
-
The APA manual says to cite up to 20 words of a social media post. That seems like a reasonable upper limit for import (still too long IMO)
-
You can email storage@zotero.org with details
-
Does this work for both documents made with Mendeley Desktop and Mendeley Reference Manager?
-
Mac Word (current version) inserts note text into note, orders citations in captions based on their actual location.
