You can run JavaScript from the Run Script command in the Tools menu in Zotero
-
After you are finished writing, unlink the citations in the document from the Zotero toolbar in LibreOffice. Then, select all of the text in the bibliography and run AutoFormat (I believe from the Tools menu in LO). If you can’t find the AutoFormat …

Zotero will definitely never go cloud-only. Being able to use Zotero completely offline without any sort of account is a core value of Zotero.
-
ADS and ArXiV are different sites with different translators. In general, I would recommend importing from ArXiV if a paper is deposited there.

Note that the APA manual generally only includes the year. Day and month are only added for some specific item types. The Zotero APA style carefully follows the manual rules about date formatting, so you can generally assume that if only the year is…
-
The italicization of the title in-text should have the same formatting as the title in the reference section, which depends on whether the item stands alone or is part of a larger whole. Zotero’s APA style follows the manual correctly here
-
On the first issue, you are incorrect. Section 9.33 isnt really relevant here (it concerns how to construct the ‘source’ section—the publisher and retrieval location—for website items). The general rule in APA style when an item doesn’t have an au…

In that case, you can enter Léon as “editorial-director” in your library by typing their name in Extra like this: Editorial Director: Léon || Pierre In your style, test for the presence of the editorial-director variable. If you want to be strict…

You can copy and paste the bibliography to https://anystyle.IO and then import to Zotero from there.
-
You would have to talk to the developer of the Zotero Style add on
-
Does the reference you are looking for appear if you just search for “Neil” ? Can you please copy the name exactly as it appears from your Zotero library and paste it here? Please select the text that is saved in your library and copy and paste it …

If another style will work for you, American Psychological Association (with abstract) is available from the style repository, or you can look at that style for how to add the abstract to the end of the bibliography entry.
-
Note that the APA 7th edition manual explicitly does not include access dates for items that have publication dates.
-
Thanks. One more question, are Deyon and Jacquart textual editors or also directeurs de la publication?
-
You don’t actually need Zotfile. There Show File option in the right click menu is part of Zotero itself
-
Feel free to write in French if that is easier, though we will probably respond in English This is possible using the “choose” element of CSL. Can you give a real example of the first format? Does this only apply to books with multiple volumes? A…

@dstillman Manuscript should get an Institution field like Report
-
That part of Zotfile functionality has been incorporated into Zotero itself using the new note editor in Zotero 6. Annotations are automatically extracted when you view the item in the Zotero pdf reader
-
If you put it in Extra like this, it should work: Publisher: University of Minnesota, Department of Psychology
-
What exactly are you looking to migrate ?

@JHHbks The bigger issue with Loc in Archive is that many citation styles will include that field in rendered citations (eg, APA, Chicago), so you probably want to avoid it for personal non-citation data. Call Number is a safer bet for that purpose.…
-
This would be a data entry problem. Check that Gloger-Tippelt is entered in your library as an editor, not as a book author.
-
I would suggest Call Number for that purpose — it is almost never used in citation styles, whereas Loc in Archive is used for citing archival materials.
-
Yes, follow the instructions Emiliano gives in the post above yours

@fbennett @emilioanoeheyns

If you enter in Extra: References: Previously unpublished manuscript written in 1960 that will work in APA style
-
Looks potentially like a PDF downloaded from Sci-Hub and not renamed by Zotero?
-
I usually attach the PDF of the book to the book item, then use Related Items to link the chapter to the book. It takes 2 clicks to get to the PDF, but I prefer that over having duplicate files
-
Can you give a specific example?
-
I suggest putting the citation counts on the first line of Extra (which I think the plugin does) -- that way you can set the column to an appropriate width to show just the count and not other data
