It is correct APA to add additional author names when multple citations with different author sets would be abbreviated with “et al” in the same way. Eg, (Barringer, Taylor, et al., 2022) (Barringer, Smith, et al., 2022) There is no problem here

Ah, yes, sorry I misread Dendenzel’s post. Every example I saw used “red.”—I haven’t seen any article in Dutch or Belgian psychology journals that used “reds.”
-
I read through a couple dozen Dutch psychology articles across 6 journals and they all used (red.) for the plural of editor. That’s good enough for me. I’ll update the APA locale.
-
Type the delimiter manually. The collapsing of punctuation is a generally desired behavior to avoid duplicative delimiters appearing unintentionally. The format you describe is quite rare, so I don’t expect that a workaround to accommodate it is lik…

I would just cite this like any other YouTube video https://www.zotero.org/groups/2205533/test_items_library/collections/MR2N872S/items/PIJI4K37/item-details
-
@dstillman I am seeing this too for any locale for this term. Where are the locale files stored locally? I don't see a folder for them in the data directory
-
The Publisher information in APA style is principally concerned with facilitating accessing the source, so the distributor is consistent with that (what catalog should the reader consult to find the film?). Another consideration is that production…

Zotero doesn’t produce its own text to speech engine, but it is compatible with major text to speech/screen reader software, such as JAWS. See here for a discussion of recent improvements in Zotero’s compatibility with screen readers https://forums.…

What citation style are you using?
-
Insert a new citation, being sure to pick it from the My Library section of the results, then copy and paste this over all of the other citations to this source in the document

Given that the entire work is written by one author and translated by one translator (versus an edited volume where each chapter is written by different authors), I would recommend entering the entire volume as a "Book" item and then then citing the…
-
I would enter this as a Podcast type item

You should store the titles in sentence case, with the first letter after the colon in lower case. For APA and other styles that call for it, the letter after the colon will be capitalized automatically. Other styles do not capitalize after the colo…

1. Do you know if they have an “Institution” subscription (everyone at Brown has unlimited storage) or a “Lab” subscription (paid for by one lab with a controlled list of users that get unlimited storage)? If it’s a Lab subscription, talk to whoever…

Search for "publisher-place" in the DGP style and remove those lines wherever that variable appears. Has DGP released an updated style guide that conforms with the APA 7 manual?
-
Yeah I can reproduce that with Chicago (fullnote) for an English bibliography with an item set to 'tr' locale. @fbennett @emelianoeheyns
-
It’s correct SBL to drop particles like “van” for sorting
-
Are there other items you have concerns about? If you want to have PMID printed in APA (annotated bibliography), you can either put it on the same line as the information above or edit the style to also print PMID.
-
In that specific example, PMID is a CSL variable. Any CSL variables on their own line are removed from Extra before it is printed. See here for a list of CSL variables https://aurimasv.github.io/z2csl/typeMap.xml
-
I’m not sure I follow. Can you copy the contents of one of your Extra fields here and say which part you want to appear in the annotated bibliography?
-
Can you provide more context on why you want to add this? The APA manual makes it clear that only the year should be given for reports. Is this for a specific publisher or journal? The correct macro to edit is “date-bib”
-
My colleagues and I have always submitted to Nature journals with subscript references and it has never been raised as an issue
-
Yes, This is a data entry issue. Be sure all the authors are stored in “Last, First” format in two fields in your Zotero library

@www is an alias for @online in BibLaTeX for compatibility purposes. @online is the standard and preferred type. I would recommend contacting MDPI and asking them to update their style sheet or processing pipeline to accept the standard BibLaTeX typ…

APA calls for printing of Archive when it’s a small or limited access database or physical collection, but not a widely available database like one of Ebsco’s. One option would be to not record this information, or we could potentially only show th…
-
Note that this is a change from APA 6 to 7. In current APA style, all citations with 3+ authors use et al from the first citation.
-
Generally it’s this https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/given_name_disambiguation

I’m hoping to get DOI Manager compatible in the next few months

You can manually edit by clicking the Add/Edit Bibliography button in word and rearranging the items in the popup window. But for your use case, it might be easier to edit your CSL style and add to the top of the bibliography sort list.
