You can enter these items as Journal Article and then put this in Extra: type: periodical That will be picked up and formatted as a full journal issue for styles that have been updated to support this item type
-
Ah yes you’re right
-
To be clear, it is correct APA style for the year suffixes to follow the bibliography sort order, not order of appearance in text.
-
Looks like I inadvertently removed the archive variable here in a recent update to the APA CSL style (you’ve got an older version of the style on your desktop installation somehow, hence the difference). Will fix.
-
Right click on the library name in the left pane and you can remove it
-
That feature is implemented. You can choose when of your group libraries to sync from the Sync section of the Zotero settings (I also have a lot of finished meta-analyses I don’t sync anymore but keep around online for archival purposes).
-
What citation style are you using?
-
I believe the Zotero item type is ‘computerProgram’
-
To be clear, it is correct APA style to add initials to a first author’s name if there are multiple different authors with the same last name cited in your document, and it is correct to add additional author names when 2 items have the same first a…

MDPI journals don’t include DOI in references (they used to, but stopped several years ago and removed the DOI from the MDPI Zotero/CSL styles themselves)
-
The last time a major update rendered most plugins imcompatible (Zotero 5), we moved all incompatible plugins to a section at the bottom (and eventually a separate page)

PR to remove here: https://github.com/citation-style-language/locales/pull/319
-
@adamsmith Those were added here: https://github.com/citation-style-language/locales/pull/298 It seems odd to me that author wouldn't have a verb form of the term for citation formats like "The sun also rises," by Ernest Hemingway, but if styles ar…

@adamsmith is this the Bluebook style or the general English locale ?
-
Use the APA (no ampersand) version of the style

I hope to merge in the updates for Zotero 7 this weekend

Please feel free to submit your updates to the CSL Style Repository: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md

Since that thread, CSL now has a narrator variable. You can add a narrator to a book item by entering it in Extra like this: narrator: Smith || John A. This will appear in CSL styles that include the narrator variable. The APA CSL has been updated…

When the second (or later) authors differ, correct APA style adds additional names (like you show Author2 in your example). Are the second authors different for the 2 papers? APA only adds letters after the year when the author groups are identical…

There is a plugin that implements this https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/116141/announcing-zotts-a-text-to-speech-plugin-for-zotero#latest

You can find the Zotero commands under the Macros menu in the left drop down of the Customize Ribbon window.
-
Colored tags can be used as a similar feature—these place up to 9 tags at the top of the tag list and you can assign or remove them with the 1-9 keys on your keyboard

I also had to type in the words "Publication No." in the "Loc. in Archive" field to get that to appear. (I would have expected that the words would not need to be added manually.) This field can contain a variety of location information, including …

Yes, I noticed that this morning and made a fix for the APA CSL style. Should be fixed in Zotero within the next 24 hours. Note that you need to put ProQuest Dissertations and Theses in the "Archive" field.
-
This looks like a data entry issue. Can you post a screenshot of how there item is entered in Zotero?
-
Note that Zotero only supports bibliographies in one language at a time, so it cannot format English items in English and Arabic items in Arabic in the same document. The Jurism variant of Zotero supports multi-lingual bibliographies, but I am not…
