Place that in the Studio field.
-
If you don’t want the prefix to appear, enter the line numbers in the “suffix” field rather than the page/line field.
-
Enter “Video” in the Format field.
-
Don’t enter personal names in single-field mode. Always enter those in Last, First mode. Single-field mode will assume that the name is a group or organization.
-
You likely don’t have the names consistently entered in your library. Sometimes they are entered as J. and sometimes as John. Zotero doesn’t know that these are the same person and so expands the latter to the full name, per APA style.
-
No, you need to save the item to your library first, then insert using the Word plugin.
-
No. The best approach is to wait until you are done writing, then Unlink Citations and manually change these references.
-
There has been some discussion by developers in the past to more intelligently decide when to save snapshots. It would be nice if it happened at some point.
-
Select the items you want to put in this bibliography in Zotero, right click, and choose Create Bibliography from Items or just drag the items into Word.
-
What citation style are you using?
-
Reference Extractor linked above can do that.
-
Is this for a specific journal?
-
But also, those items don't need to be disambiguated. One is Leiter et al. 2011, the other is Leiter et al. 2012. APA 7th edition does not disambiguate between multiple author groups that are all abbreviated down to the same "et al" unless they are …

Can you create a Word document, upload it to Dropbox or similar, and link here? It's much easier to test things with Word than Google Docs.
-
That document isn't publicly editable.
-
Feel free to write in Spanish. Please read the link I gave to see how to request a style
-
Got it. The best way to do that would be to write the summary in a different document. When you are done, Unlink Citations, then merge the two documents together.
-
Yeah, that’s not APA style at all. It’s closer to Chicago, but very different. I suggest you just request a new style be made: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/wiki/Requesting-Styles

So you want the footnotes to start over at 1 in the summary? Make the summary a new Section in Word. Then set the Word setting to restart note numbering in that section. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_word-mso_other/cha…

being logged in to my account B (having logged out of my account A previously), but the citations still went into the account B's "Web library" Do you mean that it saves to account A’s library?
-
Yes, it sounds like your journal doesn’t actually use APA style. If you can describe what changes you need and show some example citations, that would be helpful.
-
If they are an academic outlet, go with Journal Article. Otherwise, Magazine Article is usually a good fit.

CSL 1.1, planned for release in the next few months, will support normalizing punctuation like this when generating citations. So, support is on the horizon, but it may take some time until CSL 1.1 support is added to Zotero/its citation processor.

@Pedro%20Rosmaninho GPL and AGPL are not strictly compatible licenses https://www.gnu.org/licenses/why-affero-gpl.html You can’t just substitute a more permissive license (GPL) for a less permissive one (AGPL) when distributing software. If you wan…

It’s not possible to make live hyperlinks in Rich Text (which is what Zotero can insert into Word Fields or LibreOffice ReferenceMarks). When Zotero generates the references as HTML (when you drag them), it can make the links live. You can make the …

Using the multilingual language tag like that will prevent proper casing of English titles. I suggest you store that sort of information in Extra like this: Medium: catalogue... That will be picked up and formatted correctly by citation styles. …
-
@AndySymons That is not a good practice. You should enter an actual language into the field or leave it blank. If there is an English language title with words that should never be capitalized, wrap those in tags.

The wall of text is a bit dense to read. What exactly is the problem you’re trying to solve, briefly?
-
This usually occurs if you have Zotero database stored in a cloud storage folder like Dropbox or similar. If that's the case, you should move it out and back to the default location: https://zotero.org/support/zotero_data To repair your database, u…
