That website provides very limited metadata, so there isn't much for Zotero to import automatically. After you add the to your library, you will need to edit it complete the information needed for the APA reference. For example, copy or move "Center…

If that’s not what you’re seeing, where exactly are you looking and what do you see? Can you post a screenshot?

Notes are one of the vertical sections in the new Items pane. When you click the Notes icon, notes for the current item are shown up top, and All notes is shown below.

Asian characters should never appear in italics, and it’s arguably a bug that italics are applied to the whole field when the field is a mix of Asian and non-Asian characters. cf. https://github.com/Juris-M/citeproc-js/issues/180#issuecomment-9999…

It looks like you are wanting to use APA 6th edition formatting, rather than 7th edition. There is a version of APA 6th edition style using the old DOI prefix available in the CSL Style Repository: https://www.zotero.org/styles/?q=id:apa-old-doi-pre…

Added that. @dstillman could the locale files be updated in Zotero?
-
That translation hasn't been added for German yet. What's the correct translation to use? https://github.com/citation-style-language/locales/blob/195bef843f87fc917be45ab3eca60536e4ef4626/locales-de-DE.xml#L46

Also need to add names-use-last="false" Edited style is available here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bwiernik/zotero-tools/master/apa-text-order-suffix.csl

It sounds like we should update this in the main Catalan locale for CSL. The “in” term is only used in the “within a larger whole” context in CSL
-
No, Zotero’s citation processor cannot detect section beaks. The best way to do this is to put each chapter in a separate document.
-
You can add an abbreviation to the Extra field like this: container-title-short: IUS That will get picked up by citation styles written to use abbreviated proceedings titles and migrated to a proper field if Zotero adds one.

The examples I’ve seen in American Economic Review sort the bibliography by order of appearance, for example https://scholarcommons.scu.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1117&&context=econ&&sei-redir=1&referer=https%3A%2F%2Fscholar…

Just to confirm, have you tried entering the items with van in lowercase? My memory is that Zotero’s citation processor automatically handles this.

Enter “Film” in the Genre field.

There are two plugins available that provide linked file support similar to Zotfile for Zotero 7 https://github.com/wileyyugioh/zotmoov https://github.com/MuiseDestiny/zotero-attanger
-
This is fixed in the APA style in the CSL repository. Your style in desktop Zotero should update within the next few hours.

Is this for a specific journal or publisher? Can you please provide the information requested here https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/wiki/Requesting-Styles In particular, please provide the Mares chapter and the Campbell and Peder…

Personally, I would recommend not use the classic dialog. In Zotero 7, from the default dialog, you can insert citations for items that are open or selected in the main Zotero window, so there isn’t really any benefit to using the old citation dialo…

APA style calls for the year to be listed first for all items. This is because items are sorted by year, so listed it first facilitates readers scanning the bibliography. Year, Month Day isn’t the standard display order in English either, so this is…

Like dstillman said, this is an issue with a plugin. You need to report it to the plugin developer
-
You can enter multiple items by copying and pasting with each DOI on a new line (or separate row in Excel). I would recommend doing in smaller batches than 700 (eg, maybe do 50 or 100 at a time).
-
You can enter these items as Journal Article and then put this in Extra: type: periodical That will be picked up and formatted as a full journal issue for styles that have been updated to support this item type
-
Ah yes you’re right
-
To be clear, it is correct APA style for the year suffixes to follow the bibliography sort order, not order of appearance in text.
-
Looks like I inadvertently removed the archive variable here in a recent update to the APA CSL style (you’ve got an older version of the style on your desktop installation somehow, hence the difference). Will fix.
-
Right click on the library name in the left pane and you can remove it
-
That feature is implemented. You can choose when of your group libraries to sync from the Sync section of the Zotero settings (I also have a lot of finished meta-analyses I don’t sync anymore but keep around online for archival purposes).
-
What citation style are you using?
-
I believe the Zotero item type is ‘computerProgram’
-
To be clear, it is correct APA style to add initials to a first author’s name if there are multiple different authors with the same last name cited in your document, and it is correct to add additional author names when 2 items have the same first a…
