I'm using MHRA4 with place of publication. Just tried again and it worked fine in the actual foot note. I think my confusion was that it still just shows p in box when inputting the page numbers.

Thanks for your response. But I don't find the MHRA 4 style in Zotero indicates pp. when there are multiple pages. Does it for you?

One solution could be to have 'page' and 'pages' as the dropdown with the former producing e.g. p. 2. and the latter pp. 2-3. Is there somewhere I could request this? It would then align with the MHRA guidance: (9) Page Numbers: To cite a particula…
