we were not able to add marcxml or mods to our records, which I think was a requirement to be added to the blacklight translator. Is that right?
-
After a gap, we're looking at enhancing Zotero support in our catalog again. I wanted to check in on the status of RIS detection via rel="alternate". Is that still in the works?
-
Following up - if we did get our catalog added to the blacklight translator, would it prioritize marcxml or mods above COinS data?
-
side question - would zbib.org also pick up marcxml or mods?
-
Yes, we're blacklight-based. This is good to know, thanks - I'll take the option back to our developers.
-
I'm excited to hear that it's on the roadmap. And I'll look into citation.js, hadn't seen that before. Thanks!
-
Oh, sounds promising! So for my dumb follow-up question: How do I find it and move it back onto the screen?
-
ah, so to fix it we'd have to move the editors' names to a different MARC field? Nuts, that would need more extensive systematic work than I'd hoped.

Thanks for the info! This confirms most of what I thought. As for the LoC catalog, you're right - it does mistakenly label editors as contributors. Can I help fix that somehow? As for other catalogs, thanks for the input. I thought it w…

you know what, I think I owe you a big apology - turns out I wasn't running the current version of Zotero. Sigh, could have sworn I checked that. I'm on 2.1.10 now and everything's working perfectly. Thanks so much for your help though!

Got it - Report ID: 1496132939 Error was triggered when trying to save an individual article in Academic Search Premier via the piece of paper icon in the URL bar. Thanks, really appreciate you looking into this!

Well, EBSCO got back to me and they have no idea what the problem is. So, anybody else have an idea? The error message says to check the forums for known translator issues, but I don't see any relevant ones about EBSCO.
-
Ah, thanks! I do have the proxy set up in Zotero, so that doesn't seem to be the cause. I'll hold on and see if EBSCO can tell me what's up.
-
Certainly! I'm not sure which link you need, but here's what it looks like in my browser's URL bar: http://ehis.ebscohost.com.libproxy.lib.unc.edu/ehost/detail?vid=3&hid=124&sid=c763646a-7220-4970-b899-891d9f63444c%40sessionmgr111&…

I upgraded to Firefox 4, and that seemed to fix it! (didn't realize I was out of date, was on 3.6 I think) I first tried disabling all add-ins except Firefox, and that didn't seem to have any effect. But hey it's working again, so I'm happy :)…
