Hi. I just checked your group library (if it is the public one that you are asking about). It is populated with items. If you don't see them on the website, I would try clearing your browser cache.
-
You can add an editor already. Add a second author field with the "+" button. Click the word "author", choose "editor" from the dropdown list. Edit: For reference: kb:edited_volumes_and_book_chapters [Zotero Documentation]
-
You can restore individual items from the trash. Click on one, then in the right pane at the very top will be an option to restore the item to your library (I think it should really be a context menu option).
-
It looks like that is planned for the future. There are a couple of threads on the topic. Here is one: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/11254/local-zotero-server/

I also came to report that I tried out MaComfort, but it does not work. I don't know if it has a command line method or not, but its quick look function doesn't even seem to work at all on my computer. I will also check out alternatives.

My guess would be that this is a conflict with another addon, or more likely a theme. I would revert to the default Firefox theme, and if that does not fix it, try disabling any recently installed addons. Edit: Actually first check that you don't h…

Hi. Pubmed changed something, and the translator stopped working for it last week. However, someone has already updated that translator to be compatible again. Make sure that you have all your translators updated (Preferences->General->First i…

Books, websites, articles, etc. are all items in your Zotero database, and go through data sync. Attachments like PDFs, snapshots, etc. are separate files that go through file sync. There are separate settings for these in your Zotero preferences. …

Screenshots would probably help. I would also try disabling your other addons, and reverting to the default Firefox theme, to see if it is a conflict with another addon.

It is still not possible to enter original dates. The new CSL processor discussed in this thread is going to come out with Zotero 2.1, but I don't know if Zotero will have orginal dates implemented by then. Here is a thread with more recent posts: Z…

Hello. Could you explain in more detail? What type of item are you trying to create that has no author field shown? Are you trying to add authors to an existing item? The only thing I can think of is that you are trying to add an author directly to…
-
Okay, I can see how that would be desirable. I mainly use Zotero from the quick access bar or keyboard shortcuts as you mentioned. As for moving the Zotero items on the ribbon, I don't think that is possible in Word 2007. It should be possible from …

Happens to me as well on XP. I even have an additional addon installed that is supposed to force anything to open in a tab in the current window, and in fact the Zotero support link is the only thing I have found that still manages to open a new win…

Have you looked into related discussions like these? http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/7972/sync-ssl-certificate-error-connecting-to-synczoteroorg/ http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/9993/sync-error/

What would better integration be? All the commands have buttons in the ribbon.
-
Have you tried uninstalling the old version manually, and then installing the new one? See the last paragraph of this section of the troubleshooting page: http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#incompatible_plugin

Thanks ajlyon. It works great.

The translator stopped working. PubMed must have changed their site in the past couple of days. A thread has already started on this issue: Zotero Forums - Trouble with NCBI Pubmed translator

Have you checked your preferences? I don't know if Mac Word is different, but this article might be what you are looking for: kb:keyboard_shortcuts_in_word_plugin [Zotero Documentation]

This is a great suggestion. I could really use a toggle for my proxy as well. I would love to see one accessible from the main Zotero panel, or the Zotero statusbar icon (I have always wondered why there are no right click options from the statusbar…

There is a quickstart here if you think it could be done by slightly modifying a current style. csl_simple_edits [Zotero Documentation] This is the full article on creating styles. dev:creating_citation_styles [Zotero Documentation] If you don't thi…

That works fine for me. Make sure you are just entering the number, not the "PMID" part.
-
Add by PMID is a good workaround. You can also still use the PubMed translator from search result lists. Finally, unless you are particularly attached to the NCBI interface, there are many alternative ways to search PubMed. Pubget, for example, is a…

Does anyone know if Fennec looks like it'd be supporting Zotero? It would need porting, since the UI structure is apparently quite different on Fennec. See this page on the mozilla wiki. Porting could range from very easy to very difficult depen…

Try checking your Firefox options. On the applications tab, check that PDFs are set to be opened by the Acrobat plugin in Firefox.

There is already another thread going about the issue with the PubMed translator: Zotero Forums - Trouble with NCBI Pubmed translator

There seems to be a problem with the PubMed translator. A thread has already been started: Zotero Forums - Trouble with NCBI Pubmed translator
-
It seems like the pubmed translator stopped working today. I don't know if there was a change on the site or what, but it is not just you. You can still save from PubMed search results (at least I can), just not from the pages for individual article…
-
Same here. I can save from search results, but not articles. The icon on article pages does say (NCBI PubMed), but nothing happens when I click it.

Perhaps you should start a new thread or look for a previous one about RTF scan errors. The title of this thread is not very descriptive of your current problem. You might also want to post the exact text entry that is not being converted properly …
