After an exhaustive suite of about five tests, drag and drop function in standalone Zotero seems to working as before. Thank you, sir.

Drag and drop of pdfs in standalone 4.0.28.6 (copied by hand from About Zotero) appears to be blocked in several cases: In the middle pane, using existing pdfs and existing parent containers, I cannot drag a pdf into a journal. Or a book. Or a fres…

Indeed it is, thanks very much. Sorry about the shoddy report protocol.

I'd also like to see pervasive DOIs. I just realized today that book chapters, for instance, lack a DOI field. But even more than that I'd like to have them as a column to display and sort on. I've got everything organized by DOI, a whole filesyst…

Post by: susannary There is a chance for you. No guarantee, but a chance. And this chance has come to be, because there is nothing static with free people. This arrived by e-mail but appears to have since been struck from the record. Your full mea…

OK. That's awkward for sharing between my two machines but infinitely less so than two cavilling "unknown publisher" dialog boxes for each and every pdf (they have magically vanished along with the data directory from Dropbox). Thanks for your help.

Tried your suggestion, no luck I'm afraid. But, I must confess Zotero is running out of Dropbox; judging from your struck out comment that may be the problem.
-
Ah. I'm content with that, thank you.

Man, you guys are quick! OK, fair enough. Thanks for (rtfm) tip ;) May I respectfully suggest though that the presence of your icon in the address bar--the appearance of which seems not to depend on the likelihood it will actually work--couple…

Fixed! Thanks+

Thank you, that's a good plan actually.

Changing IPs fixed it for now, so I think I just asked for too much too fast. I was getting the odd "not OCR'd" at first, but those vanished too. Thanks for your help, I'll look forward to the next release with throttling and/or improved error repor…
