That makes sense! Thanks again, I am glad the problem got fixed for me.

Wow, amazing - the full sync debugging on the iPad did the trick! I now have access to all my files there and everything seems in sync. Thanks so much for fixing my problem so swiftly and efficiently! One suggestion: I might not be the only person…

Many thanks for following up, @dstillman! I did as you suggested and renamed the attachment title (not the file) on my computer. The Debug ID is: D184746168. I can report that the change has now synced across my devices, including the iPad. Very …

I followed the steps you helpfully outlined. The Debug ID is D902522916 The change synced across devices, but still no PDF attached to the iPad item.
-
(To check: I added "Here" to the Archive field, and it synced fine.)
-
Yes, @dstillman - manual changes appear across devices. What I did was make a change in the web library to the same item I recorded beforehand, which then synced to both the computer and the iPad app.
-
Thanks so much, @mvasilak! I just sent you the two recordings (on computer and on iPad) for comparison. Your support is hugely appreciated!

I should add that this is the case with many PDFs in my rather large library: they appear in the online library, but not on the iOS app. So far, I could not identify a shared feature among those not appearing. One thing that is happening on the iPad…
-
Apologies for being unclear: I wanted to say that no PDF is showing up in the items list. If this helps, I could point you directly to the PDF I wanted to read on the iPad.
-
Brilliant, thanks so much for this quick fix, @dstillman!
-
Wow, that's amazing - both the fix and the new functionality, which will likely make me switch from classic dialog. Thanks again for everything!
-
Many thanks for the advice, Dan!
-
UPDATE - the latest beta version fixed the problem! Many thanks, Dan, for getting this done so quickly!
-
Dan, Thanks for the reply. What happens in my case is precisely as you described; you were right about the collection, too. The reason why I need to scroll down to the selected item, though, is that I can't edit the citation until I find it. [By ed…

Hi Dan, Yes, that's exactly right - Zotero does not scroll to the correct item. The issue is that Zotero also always switches to the full library view (even if I have switched to a collection) when I try editing a citation, and my library is relati…
-
Sorry - can I ask whether anyone else has had the same issue? I am hesitant to switch to 5.0 if I can't edit citations in previously created documents. Any advice as to what I could do would be much appreciated! Thanks.
-
Sorry I haven't been as clear as necessary, so let me try again. What happens is that when I try to edit a citation in a document originally created with Zotero 4, Zotero displays my entire library without skipping to the item I wish to edit. I can…

I seem to have exactly the same problem (error id 416137211). Also, if I check my library on the zotero website it appears to be entirely gone. Thanks for helping out!

Same problem here. I tried several styles, but alphabetical order of bibliography is not working.

Hi, Just as a final remark: after upgrading today to v. 2rc4 everything works perfectly fine again. I think you might have fixed a bug in this version that was plaguing my saved searches before! Thanks again for the quick support: Mathias
-
Thanks, Dan, for the great advice. Saved searches do indeed load again after I hit "continue" a couple of times, although it takes quite some time. This could, I guess, be connected to the relative slowness of my competer and to the size of my libra…

Sorry I have not expressed myself very clearly in my first message. When I try to load my saved searches I receive, after around 3 minutes of waiting, an error message saying that a script failed to load. Then I need to stop the script or FF crash…
