alright, I removed the extension, closed openoffice, reinstalled the correct plugin, and now openoffice won't recognize it at all (not in the extension manager). i even restarted my computer to see if that would help (longshot). it didn't.

I've tried that, 4 times actually. I've got the right plugin, it just isn't talking to Openoffice to let it know to use the new plugin instead of the old.
