I've now upgraded to Firefox 3.5.7, and am working again.

Sorry - I have now, closed word, uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, restarted firefox, restarted word. I still get the error.

Thanks Adam - I never knew about Firefox profiles, so that was an interesting thing but not the problem I'm having, sadly. The other one doesn't seem to be it, and I have tried restarting.
