adamsmith wrote: > Use the new beta version, which supports images in notes. Thanks for the proposal. I installed "5.0.97-beta.43+c5d89f6d0". Unfortunately, I still receive the same error message that the size of the note is too large :-(

@dstillman: Thanks for the upcoming fix! Follow-up question: What is the actual size limit for notes? Is the limit configurable? I tend to copy screenshots into the field, that way I occasionally receive the described error message.

"I have some items with "Harvard" in their tiles. But when I search using "havard" or "Havard", the items aren't found." Your post is confusing: "Harvard" is not "Havard". Was this a typo in your forum post only, or did you mistype in your actual Z…

Did not seem to work for me: • Started Zotero 5.0.59 • Installed Zotero Connector 5.0.51beta3 for Firefox. Restarted Firefox. • Hit "Update Translators" on "Advanced" tab of the Zotero Connector properties. As I did not observe any visible feedback…

I was asked: > so when you click on an EBSCO PDF, it’s at an unproxied URL > (content.ebscohost.com)? Or is there an intermediate proxied URL? I am on the following EBSCO result page: https://web-b-ebscohost-com.glos.idm.oclc.org/ehost/det…

I tried to follow up the given instructions and observed a probably surprising result. On my Windows 10 machine following curl version was already installed: curl 7.55.1 (Windows) libcurl/7.55.1 WinSSL The full curl call as copied from Firefox: c…

Dear "dstilllman", in your recommended post at https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/321733/#Comment_321733 you wrote: "Open Terminal via Spotlight and paste in the command" As far as I understand, "Spotlight" is only available on macOS, i…

Any progress on this issue? Can I contribute anything to a solution?

Wow, Aurimas, that was impressive! Where can I donate something for Zotero?

Thank you "adamsmith"! > their proliferation particularly in UK universities > is an aberration that should be fought Fully understood and agreed. All the more I very much appreciate your generous support!

The problem remained reproducible over last two days, always returning a "404" error message. I tried it around fifteen times during that period. Finally I created a new GitHub account. Initial attempt with this new account again went into the …

Very strange - the observed effect is gone. Everything now works as expected. Same link, same computer, same configuration, no material changes at all. Thanks anyway for your patient support, and maybe something could be done in one of the futu…
