:-( Thanks!!

Hm, ok. But I _can_ drag a pdf from Zotero to my Mac Desktop. And I can also drag ist from the Desktop as an attachment to my mail. But _not_ on the direct way from Zotero to a mail?!? Funny....
-
Nope, sorry, nothing else... :-( I can do what ever you want to test the issue. But you have to tell me what to do since I'm not a computer science guy...
-
The only thing I can see in the error console is: Fehler: uncaught exception: Cannot add invalid tag 773 in Zotero.Item.addTagByID() Does this help? THX!

Hi! 1.) Yes, that's right. I'm just not sure if it is a good idea to rename my entire Zotero library. But I want the files on the tablet to be renamed. 2.) That is correct: "Tag is _READ". I think the problem is, that ZotFile sometimes doe…

Hi! Sorry that my answer took half a century but I was in vacation a couple of weeks... :-) I tested the mentioned beta and it now renames the files in the destination folder correctly. But I found a few other issues: 1. ZotFile _does…

Hi! I really like this plugin because it helps me to read my literature on my iPad. But unfortunately it does not rename the files when I choose "Manage reader files -> Move to reader"?!? It just copies the files with the original name. I wa…

Yup, same probleme here....

There is a long discussion on the topic in the Apache Users Mailing List. It might not be a good idea to depend on the timestamp of a file to store the time and date of the last sync. There are many MAYs and SHOULDs in the RFC. Here is a statement o…

Well, I'm not an expert with servers, RFCs, Apache, ... I just tried to solve a problem... Are you talking about the thread in the Apache Users Mailing List?
-
Hurray, this seems to work now!!!! I'll test more detailed tomorrow, but I think it is really working now!! In summery the reason for the trouble was that Apache/WebDAV did not update the timestamp of the file "lastsync" as long as this file wa…

Yes, it updates if there is a single space in the file. If Zotero uses libcurl it might be possible that curl is causing the problem?! Empty file: apfel:~ ts$ curl -T empty -u zotero:secret --verbose http://abc.d/zotero/empty * About to connect()…
-
Sorry, but I must bother again. My WebDAV server _does_ update the timestamps: Client: apfel:~ ts$ echo "abc" > test apfel:~ ts$ touch test apfel:~ ts$ ls -l test -rw-r--r-- 1 ts staff 4 23 Jul 15:54 test apfel:~ ts$ curl -T …

Zotero report is pretty close to what I want. Is it possible to link the attachements from the report? Sorry, but I'm not an experienced programmer - just a little bit... ;-) THX!
-
OK, Thanks!
-
I probably misunderstood. Let me state more precisely: It is a clean install from my ISP of Ubuntu 8.04 without any modifications made by me. I do not know whether or not my provider changed certain settings. Since there is almost nothing to configu…

Hm, ok, again thanks a lot for your very patient help!! And again, please believe me: it definitely is a stock Apache installation (Apache/2.2.8 (Ubuntu) DAV/2 mod_python/3.3.1 Python/2.5.2 PHP/5.2.4-2ubuntu5.10 with Suhosin-Patch mod_ssl/2.2.8 Open…

No way to export my entire library?
-
This is the upload: D1293891148
-
No unfortunately it's not. I encountered another problem.... I was not even able to upload the pdf. It worked after I restarted firefox. I'll try to provide a Debug ID for the upload soon...
-
PS: After I restarted firefox the upload worked...

Hm, but it is a stock Apache (Apache/2.2.8 (Ubuntu) DAV/2 mod_python/3.3.1 Python/2.5.2 PHP/5.2.4-2ubuntu5.10 with Suhosin-Patch mod_ssl/2.2.8 OpenSSL/0.9.8g) on Ubuntu 8.04.... I tried an upload again. This time I had an "Error processing uploade…

Hm, I agree: http://billroth.ath.cx:8888/tmp/03.png It's sorted by date/time. But I don't think that this is a webdav server problem. It's an up-to-date installation of mod_webdav on apache 2.2. If zotero correctly wrote the file each time the…

PS: Why does the "upload accepted - waiting for sync server" takes so long? It is a really fast webdav server (since it's located almost next to me... ;-)?
-
Since it starts syncing automatically this is a log from the beginning. I hit the sync button a couple times and tried to download the pdf: D1610967115
-
Here is what I did: 1. Added a library item with pdf attachment on my work computer (Win XP). The upload took forever ("waiting for sync server"), but finally the upload finished (I had to restart firefox for this to work). The file is definite…
-
Hi! The skipped uploads are probably a result from the reset of sync history. The attachment was _not_ downloaded successfully, but I will try again in a minute....
-
THX! It works for me! Tom
-
Yes, that was it! Thanks for your help! I did not find it myself. Probably I was looking at the wrong place.... Tom

Now it looks more like a Java problem and not a Zotero issue. However I'd appreciate if anyone knew a solution for that problem. Thanks again! Tom
