Yes, I agree, the functionality has to work properly. I see two potential approaches. First one is based on the extraction of ISBN and DOI and searching these values in the Zotero database. I am not sure if this approach can be successful in most ca…

In reality, I am looking for the same function as Cécile. Duplicate items are not so big problem, I can find it very easy in Zotero. Searching of related documents is more complicated. @gurdas is right, extracting DOI and ISBN from document is not t…

Unfortunately, I use Zotero 5.
-
I4oc.org looks good. But I think the function described by Cécile can be based on similar algoritm as duplicity searching.
-
Another way is starting to add some different type of document and in the right pane change type document on web page

@hayarpi.papikyan Only check for updates in Zotero, I've updated to b.185 few seconds ago.
-
Do you see the message "Zotero standalone is currently available" in preferences of Zotero Chrome Connector, on general tab? In all cases, It will be very helpful to send the debug output log from Connector and post here the Debug ID.
-
There are no real benefits of Firefox version. From version 5.x, the Standalone version will be available only. What do you mean by "it is extremely slow" exactly?
-
I do not think it has to be based on the extraction of references from a bibliography. I've thought about something very similar https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/64506/idea-automatically-find-of-related-document
-
I think yes, you can use Note or Keywords fields EDIT: try this one https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9G2tT5B0K0WYllCNGt2NjM5Qzg put your key in the note field

I think, @feige means this journal http://iopscience.iop.org/journal/2053-1583. But he/she should follow instruction on https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/wiki/Requesting-Styles

Did you install Zotero Standalone or only Conector? What URL?

Microsoft has implemented "a new HTML, JavaScript and CSS based extension model into Edge. This new model is Chrome-compatible which means that existing Chrome extension developers will be able to migrate their extensions to Edge with minimal change…

I think, RTF is not correct format. Use native MS Word docx format.

@fabimidori If some items are with and some without authors it seems as not a problem of style. Can you check duplicity in the left pane of Zotero? Try to check real information in Zotero of cited record (in your document edit the inline citation, …
-
For first, look on "Duplicity items" in the left pane of Zotero. There you can see all duplicity in the same Library. See this documentation https://www.zotero.org/support/duplicate_detection Merge all duplicities, refresh and check your document. I…

Oh so, you are not a user of Zotero, sorry. It seems that Docear does not map Key to any variable in CSL - https://www.docear.org/2012/08/08/docear4word-mapping-bibtex-fields-and-types-with-the-citation-style-language/ This post is very old, but if …

Because the Firefox version will be close in same time after Zotero v5 will be launched I recommend to use Standalone version. I also recommend installing the new 5.0 beta, is stable enough for everyday use.
-
How have you the BibTeX key saved in Zotero? (in which item?)
-
Use drag and drop for copy items from your personal library to group library. For direct download record to group library should be enough to be in group library and then save a item from web. Connector save records to the active collection in Zotero
-
Why can you archive any items in the feed? You can import them in the special collection and deleted it from a feed, can you? I think that is a better way as store it in the feed.
-
The synchronisation process is usually completed in seconds and really does not take a long time. It seems you have any other problem. Do you upload a big amount of attached documents very often?
-
I think ID is not imported to Zotero. You can change ID to the note by changing all strings "ID - " to "N1 - ID=" or "N1 - Hardcopy ID=" (or something similar) in the RIS file. After importing, there will be created a note for all records with in…

@furma19p Do not delete duplicates, use merge function!!! One tip: in the left pane you can see "collection" named Duplicate Items If you use group collections you have to check them too. It is my typical mistake to cite the same document when I col…
-
Check the duplicity of this item in your Zotero.
-
It seems you cite this author (maybe the same document) twice. What do you see in bibliography?
-
Do you have this collection on your home PC? If yes, then it is not synchronized only.
-
@dstillman: thanks

@adamsmith: In the LibreOffice, the inserted bibliography is automatically formatted in the specific style.
