Awesome - yes it was the footnotes and that has now worked. Thanks again

I hadn't even spotted my spelling. I've tried on a journal and a webpage reference and that isn't working, it still shows the full name. Should there be a space between the " "? Maybe there is a further line interfering elsewhere

I have tried amending line 40 and have a white space error "need whitespace between attributes". Again not sure what to do. I tried adding the '/' which appears in the lines beneath to see if that works but it doesn't. What am I missing for it to wo…

Great thank you this has worked! I needed to remove it from other lines as well including 78 'title note' and 108. But it is definitely working as needed. Can I ask about the "sentence" case, what do you do if you don't want title case but just wan…

Yes, thank you - I am just going to try the line 40 amendment. Thank you that clarifies the link sharing - I now remember that was why I was advised to share the raw file as that was what I was trying to work around at the time. Sorry for the conf…

Great, thanks. Does this work? https://github.com/annie-berry/ofstedhousestyle/blob/main/v1 I'm sure that hasn't worked previously and I was advised to link to the raw one

Thank you, the latter works great actually, just excluding the author metadata and making sure data is entered correctly in the institution field if there are multiple institutions. Raising a new query: I also realise that for reports the title nee…

Thank you, so would it look like this, adding it in to line 40? 39 names variable="author" 40 initialise-with="" 41 name and="text" name-as-sort-order="first"/ 42 label form="short" suffix="." prefix=", "/ Apologies - good …

I have an addition to the query, for 'Reports' I don't want the author name to show, instead I need the institution name to show after the Title, as below: ‘Title field name of report’, Institution field, September 2014; https://www.url. Can anyon…

Thanks so much for the tips. Hopefully now easier to read and the link works below. I have added in that line. It doesn't have spaces either side of the numbers. When I add spaces either side of "to" as below: to it makes 'to' appear multiple ti…

Ignore that...I think I have now made it public? But that doesn't mean anyone can change my own one, unless they are a collaborator does it?! Sorry new to all of this
-
Thank you I will give that a try. In another discussion adamsmith mentioned about sharing the raw github file but I see that it is not working. Is there a setting I need to change to make it public in order to share the raw style link? I am predicti…

Thanks for explaining - I've given that a try and see what you mean. My concern is that it would sit with me which isn't great - but I guess others can just take the code from that site to amend/share if necessary in future? The style is for an org…

And sorry to add a question - if it were possible to add to the repository and we find further amendments, how are they actioned? In Zotero I can see how to amend a style and save it locally to a CSL file but those changes would presumably only work…
-
Thank you that's great! It is for a team of us and we have internal guidelines to follow for our style - so would that be possible to include in the repository? I will look into it. Ideally there would be a URL to share and a style that we can amen…

Thanks damnation In https://csl.mendeley.com/styles/682885091/ofsted-house-style-2-no-footer I changed line 1 to "in-text" as a work around to try to get the style to work in-text. It was originally class="note" but the style won't work as it is 'f…

DWL-SDCA could you direct me to any information on organisational use of Zotero? (i.e. is there a subscription for organisations) And does Zotero definitely support footnote style referencing?
-
Hello, thank you DWL-SDCA because it is for an organisation, it would be great to look into this. It isn't going to help me in the short term with my current project as is likely to take a while to make a decision to change and I can't load software…

Thank you, great will do. I have now managed to create a URL on the Mendeley URL and the CSL now works on the validator - thank you damnation. Another problem though! An error when loading the style URL into Mendeley: "Mendeley Cite does not curre…

Thanks so much, I think I have worked it out and I made the changes below: …
