That did it! Thanks!

Okay, I deleted the 'translators' and 'styles' folder manually from my directory and then restarted with debugging on. Then I tried to export both my library and a catalogue. I'm also not able to add styles, it looks like. D2078457417

Okay. I've moved the database to a non-drive location (default in user folder). I've repaired the database (no errors), I've reset the translators and styles. And then I've uninstalled (removing personal data checked) and reinstalled 5.0.55. When I …

Yeah. I'd missed that I guess. I've had it in Google Drive since 2014 or so. I'm moving it right now, but I have actually disconnected the Drive app from that folder yesterday after this problem emerged, ran database integrity, uploaded the database…

When I go to export under preferences, the default format bar permanently says loading. Not sure if this is part of the issue.

I'm not getting that far. D539079912

It would be wonderful if they did.

Honestly, I feel like anthropology/archaeology journal editors constantly decide to make things more difficult instead of less. The craziness of the multiple hanging indents with the Society for American Archaeology style is one example.

Quick update: The in-text citations are now sorting alphabetically (and secondarily sorting by descending date). I'm not sure why the sorting started. I had switched between a couple of different styles and maybe that refreshed the JAA style I was u…

The online author style guide doesn't specify, but published articles show it as ascending order: e.g. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0278416514000877 I checked in a couple of other articles and they all have ascending dates.…

Hi, Just want to follow up to see if anyone has suggestions for how to sort new in-text citations alphabetically. Currently the style isn't doing that. Thanks.

Thanks, Adam! You're definitely right about that first issue. One last issue that I've noticed (and I'm pretty sure this used to work, but it doesn't any more) is that when new in text references are added, they don't automatically sort alphabe…

So I restarted my computer today and for whatever reason, that seems to have fixed the issue. The import is still pretty slow (2 hours for ~ 1200 references), but it is working in large batches now.

I just sent the email. I'm also copying the last few lines here. They seem to point to the issue. (3)(+0000000): DATE: retrieved with algorithms: {"year":1993} (2)(+0000000): Cannot start a DB transaction from a different wait level (…

It's long, I'll send it to the support@zoteroorg email now.

Okay. Should I just copy and paste from the debug output then?

Sorry. Here's the actual debug ID: D498806038.

The same thing happens. The progress bar got about 60% of the way done and then it stalled.

"P IV" is just a keyword. And that reference imported fine by itself.

Thanks for responding! This problem originally started on the version in firefox. My Zotero is 3.0.11 and firefox is version 18.0, so they are both up to date. I updated the translators earlier today, but I went through and tried it again and had th…
