It is slow only when I use highlight tool with pen. If I select text with mouse or zooming PDF, it is not slow.

Not exactly... with the highlight tool it is very slow and sometimes takes a few seconds to highlight text.

Yes. I have a lot of PDF, all scanned with Adobe PDF or plugin Zotero OCR but not all are indexed and I can't search all attachment contents.
