@skaraden do you only have problems with the comments appearing/disappearing in the sidebar as well? I.e. if you leave the sidebar closed, do the comments appear always in the popovers?

The crash seems to take place when you are editing an annotation comment. Can you please provide an input example that crashes for you, especially the formatting you may be using.
