Thanks for your speedy reply on this. So I will, then, need to identify any of the altered files in the group library and drag them into my personal library. Will these individual files be added as duplicates, or will I have the option to replace ex…

problem solved, thanks (by restarting Firefox too).

ok, I did that. Restarted Word. Now when I try to add a citation the citation style selection window comes up empty. I went to preferences to add the Chicago citation style, but I get the same error message (invalid style file).

I decided to go with Open Office and have downloaded the appropriate plugin. One remaining problem with refreshing citations--I'll open a new thread on this if I can't find the solution in existing threads.

Thanks for this. Not sure how the Word issue slipped by me. I'll upgrade and hope that solves the problem.

just to add to this, when I delete half the document, I no longer get the error message upon hitting the "refresh" icon in my plugin menu, and zotero appears to be refreshing the document, but when I go in to look at my citations (to see whether my …

Yes, that works. The only thing that fails is the transfer of the "label" category in Endnote (it places these as a separate note under "notes" in Zotero). I don't imagine there's much I can do to correct this, but I'm pleased everything else work…

I've read through all of the posts in this thread hoping to effect a smooth transfer from Endnote X (for Mac) to Zotero. I've tried exporting my Endnote references using both RefMan (RIS) and BibText, but in both cases when I go to import into Zote…
