Not really interested in theoretical limits of this tool, only that it works for me. ;)

I used import/export to affect a backup/restore, which is what a lot of people in the real world are likely to do, rather than copy directories of files. A tool tip on the refresh button with some tips would be most helpful to people engaged in usi…

correction... "...will NOW appear on zotero2..."

I have confirmed that synchronization works between standalone machines, so long as you let the software perform the synchronization itself. A year or so back, I helped it by restoring a backup from my primary machine to a 2nd machine. What ensued…

So copying the data folder (Norhwestern) is the way to go. Ok. That's what I really need. I'll take a peek at the architecture so I can understand what's technically impossible or not. Thanks again for your help!

Syncing in practice with two computers is exactly what I tried a couple of years back. Again, I lost much work during that attempt. I didn't explicitly delete anything. The "transparent synchronizing" did not work for me as expected. Syncing fro…

Sorry, they are Word shotcuts associated with Zotero plugin commands. Clicking respective items still causes a Zotero crash--i.e., doesn't matter. This suggests it is not a key binding problem. Word seems fine after I run the Zotero command to po…

I downloaded 4.0.5 just in case the problem returns. For now, if I have a similar symptom after a crash, I'll restart both word and zotero first. Thanks, guys!

Dan, Please understand that I want to help you resolve the specific problem. However, I simply need a prior version at the moment to get stable again. The prior version did not crash, so I'm looking to revert to it. Can I do this? Submitti…

I've used that reporting bugs a time or two, so no problem in using it. Later...after I'm back in business.

As I told you before, I've already reported the appcrash problem using the facility that provided. It's just cores/windows crash. For the moment, I need another version to solve my (the customer's) problem. Can you understand that? After that, wh…

Are you willing to help me fix my current problem or not? The problem is I need a prior version of the standalone app. Can you direct me to a link or not?

I did report the specific appcrash problem using the built-in facility. Unfortunately, I have had to do this many times after an auto-update has stranded me with appcrashes. This is the release problem I'm referring to, which is tied to finding ot…
