Alrighty then! *flexes fingers for copy-and-paste marathon*

OK, thanks for confirming. Would it alternatively be possible to code a citation style that selects the 1 word from the title, like "[auth].[year].[Title:skipwords:select,1,1]" explained on https://zotplus.github.io/better-bibtex/Citation-Keys.html

Oh, sorry! Yes, that solved the problem. Because compiz was mentioned, I thought it was a Linux-specific advice.

PS: Continues to happen after deactivating the "Store references in document"-functionality.

Same/Similar problem in LibreOffice 4.4.03 with the Zotero integration plugin 3.5.9 and I found a reproducible crash additionally. Whenever LO's "Track..." and "Show changes" options are on, deleted entries are not dropped from the refreshed bibli…

Same problem on Win7 Pro 64bit with Zotero 4.0.25.2 in Firefox 35.0.1 and LibreOffice 4.4.03 with the Zotero integration plugin 3.5.9. My Library has just under 600 items and ca. 450 MB of attached file in /Zotero/storage. The document is 12 pages l…

2a) The "You must place the cursor in a Zotero citation to edit it."-message could use the same treatment ;-) When accidentally clicking Edit Citation while the cursor is away from a Zotero field, it should offer an "Add citation"-option.

Thanks! That must have been the only setting that overlooked when migrating to TorBrowser M-( My apologies! Case closed: no bug after all; "literal" approach does work.

Is it declared invalid by your Zotero installation upon import? That part works fine for me. Anyway, where can I learn about the tweaking required to insert hyperlinks in a more elegant way? I searched around here on the forums before using this st…

+1 for mass tagging via the same mechanism as for individual entries in the right sidebar. Dragging many selected entries to the tag list in the bottom left works OK, but it took a while to find it.

Thanks for the hint about dragging :-) Dragging it into the text-mode editor of WP works for me. I tinkered a bit more and found that dragging a citation into the visual WP editor now yields -tags with parameters like class="csl-entry". Before, t…

same problem in the firefox plugin: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/22250/keep-search-while-deleting-attachements/

That's why I asked for an option to disable it. Not for the default behaviour to be changed ;-)

OK, this one definitely does what I want: ---> prints the DOI number into a clickable link ---> prints the URL only if no DOI is available If I leave out any IF or ELSE now, both DOI and URL are printed, which makes th…

The style I start with doesn't insert DOI or URL into the bibliography. To make it easier for the reader to follow the references, I want to add the following capability to the style: - insert the DOI number IF it is in the citation's data - ELSE in…

Thanks for the tip :-) However, I was able to solve the problem by replacing the I delted before (see first post) with: Now the DOI is inserted right after the prefix, so that it becomes a clickable link. I am still tryi…

After some updates the issue is less severe. Only the spacing between lines is changed upon insertion of a citation. Win7 64bit Firefox 3.6 Zotero 2.0.2 and OO Integration 3.0.a7 OpenOffice 3.2

Same problem with the formatting on: Win7 64bit Firefox 3.5.7 Zotero 2.0b7.6 and OO Integration 3.0.a5 OpenOffice 3.1.1 Please fix this soon, dear Zotero developers :-)
