Thanks, Dan. I'm making some progress. The library is populating my Zotero plug-in now, it just crashes if I try to plug a citation into my Word doc. One step at a time. :) I appreciate your help.

No, I don't think there is anything weird like a mirrored server. All of a sudden every time I try to sync my Zotero library, Firefox crashes. It wasn't doing that a second ago.

My data directory lives in a folder on my desktop. Would that be my local drive or is a local drive somewhere else?
