Yes they might seem to be the same characters, but in computer they might have different representation. That's why I wanted the source so I can find out what are those, because I had that problem before, but I couldn't reproduce it lately. I have…

I have encountered similar problems, changing the umlauts in Zotero helped me. Apparently the source from which Zotero collected the entry has that character. Can you tell me the source of the citations (where did you saved to Zotero from)? Thanks
-
Thanks :) The problem was that we both used the suggestions from Lytero (at least I did ;)), which was forcing the button at the same spot. Zotero overlay, however, has proper identifiers (not sure about before when Lytero was created and that might…

Good ideas. I have moved the menu icon. I'll have a look how the buttons are done, it sure looks nicer :) I will move "Update from BibTeX" as the first step in "Update BibTeX". So it will still be manual. As for the settings, I thought o…

mronkko, I have added "Update from BibTeX" function. This should solve your problem. When you checkout your working copy, run this and it will update LyZ database from bibtex file. It can be only used with "zotero" BibTeX key format (i.e. "human u…

New version now works in all windows and zotfile incompatibility is resolved.
-
Many thanks. That's good news. I have looked at zotfile and apparently it reuses code from lytero (which I am using as well) to create the menus. The author of zotfile already noticed the problem that the plugin is not compatible with lytero. I will…

Weird, I am helpless at the moment. Could you perhaps try to see Zotero's debug info, perhaps something shows up there.
-
The chrome error, that's a typo. I have reused some Lytero code and left that out. I don't know what's causing it. I have found another problem: The plugin only works in one window. When you open a second window it's gone. I am asking at zotero-de…

Dan, thanks. Got it now.

mronkoo, I was too hasty. I was running both firefoxes at the same time and that might have been the problem (I'll check that). Other than that it work on linux with firefox 3.5.5 and 3.6beta5.
-
mronkoo, thanks. I know nothing about OS X. I just tried firefox 3.6beta5 and it works (on windows at least). It doesn't work on linux with firefox 3.6beta5.

Sorry I meant consistent, I suppose they are unique. Is it safe to use only the key?
-
Dan, after a brief look... so you say the key is not unique? Many of my libraryIDs are actually null. Thanks
-
mronkoo, could you paste the error from firefox console. I tested on both windows and linux, firefox 3.5.5 and 3.5.6, without any issues. 3) understood. True, you don't really need to look through the citation dialog, because it's displayed a…
-
Dan, I didn't know that. I'll have a look. many thanks Petr

mronkko, understood. 2) not automatic, the menu how has "Update Bitex" item that does that. 3) I don't understand this point. What do you mean that Zotero will format the citations? The use of the citation dialog will remain necessary at lea…

SVN can store binary data, so you could simply commit the lyz.sqlite. Would that work for you?
-
Many thanks for you testing efforts. I was just about to announce new version Your first error is perhaps already fixed. I've changed quite a bit, so hopefully the second error does not occur any more. Could you please try with the new version? …

mronkko, many thanks for the response. Ad Error: ckre.exec(text) is null: Could you export the reference to bibtex and send me that? Did that happen with other references? What do you mean by "seems to have some problems in detecting the act…

Thanks. I only tried it with "Save link as...", which worked. Silly of me. Changed. I will publish the plugin at Firefox Addons when it's a bit more mature.
-
True, I mean Mozilla, and it seems that it's not possible. The plugin works this way: first insertion of citation into document, if the plugin does not know the document yet, add it to database and ask for the bibtex file associated with that doc…

I've already corrected the variables (python bad habits and this is my first encounter with javascript), but I didn't realize the unnecessary calls in init(). Thanks for that. I have a question though. (This is probably not the place to ask, but …

Ah :) Thanks. I have posted to lyx-users. I'll leave the bug report intact until the plugin has been tested a bit more.

Sure. Did I miss some point there? Petr

Thanks.
