Same here on Beta 71 Windows portable

Focus works for me in Windows Beta 65. However, since I can remember, the item always appears at the bottom of the library panel, and sometimes it is even slightly hidden, making it difficult to see. Is there a reason for this?

I've got several 300mb + pdfs that I have dragged into Zotero 6 without issue. I even have got 1GB + files to load okay, so I doubt that is the problem. Sometimes the indexing can take a long time and there seems like no response. I have also had…

I also have the problem with their site that books download as book sections.
-
Very good - Thanks for clarification.

I have used the unique word approach, and though it works, it is easy to forget and lose track of what is what. Since the title is just the first line of the note, there is no separate title field, so perhaps a separate tag search would be the easie…

Outstanding - thank you

Given the native dark mode in Z7 55, this plugin is no longer needed going forward; however, it is a huge blessing for Z6 and the dev deserves many thanks!
-
That's great - thank you!

@mjthoraval thanks for the tip and the link
-
Great - thanks!

I would find that very convenient as well, except that there could be more than one pdf in an entry, and the annotation appear to be linked. But perhaps they could show it for entries with only one pdf, which in my case is 99.9% of biblio entries.

Sorry, should have added I am using the Windows 64bit Zip beta 55, and the link is opening in the Zotero browser

I had the same issue - fortunately, the language and engine options are available in the settings menu. I am sure that the plugin's author Windingwind will get it updated to the new look. He does amazing work and is constantly improving it.

This is very helpful, thank you!

The things I mentioned are in the most recent Beta from today. There is a little arrow on the far right of the tabs that points down. Clicking that will open the list of open tabs and let you choose one to navigate to. No, search entry does not sti…

Check out the new Z7 look and feel in the recent beta. They have also implemented several other wonderful timesavers, such as the dropdown list of open tabs to quickly find and navigate to an open pdf, as well as adding advanced search as a choice t…

Fantastic! Great look and Dark Mode is such a blessing! Thank you for thinking about allowing to toggle DM for the content separately!

Many pdf's have bookmarks which are active in Zotero. However, I have using a single highlight color as Londi suggested since V6 and it is better, since one doesn't need to switch panels, just filter for the bookmark color. One single click on the a…

I have come to learn a few more things that can affect display performance of PDF.js in Zotero. First, pdf's using JPEG2000 compression (common in Archive.org and other sources) can be very slow in Zotero. PDF.js renders far faster with JPEG image…

I think that the fastest and best solution would be to make the search text sticky in the search box so that you could switch collections with the existing navigation and not have to retype the search text every time.
-
This would be extremely useful and has been suggested by others as well. Something like one of the session manager extensions for Firefox might be a good solution, especially for the greatly sought after recently opened pdf list.
-
I found that saving any pdf as a PDF/A makes it render 10x+ faster. Perhaps try that. I noted some details about it here in this earlier post. https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/107830/tip-for-slow-pdf-view-render-in-zotero-6-and-7#latest I have…

@Haug "It would be great, though, if the filter term could be persisted across collections." Yes, Please.
-
I have same problem and believe it is due to a known bug in the plug-in Night for Zotero.
-
Great - thank you! All your hard work is greatly appreciated. Zotero has become a vital part of the my research workflow, so even the small details make a big difference.

I have over 14,000 entries and search dozens of different items daily. Saved searches is not at all practical. The problem is that I often type my search terms before I realize that I need to move the collection focus to 'My Library'. Doing so rese…
