  • Thanks. After deleting Zotero.dot and $Zotero.dot, I still had the problem and Zotero thought that the Word plug-in was still installed. So, I uninstalled/re-instslled Zotero and all was well.
  • No change. I even went so far as to uninstall Zotero, then re-install it and the MS Word plugin under the "cite" tab. Same dialog box sequence.

  • I completed steps 1-3, as above. All I see in the document is a pair of closely-spaced dotted vertical lines where I intended to put the citation (maybe a bit of grey in between). That's what I meant by an apparently empty field.
