ACM translators still gives problem with downloading conf papers

I have searched all topics related to my issue in this forum and also through google search. I am still not able to find a solution.

I am getting the "Could not save item" error when try to download this conference paper - http://portal.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=1117696.1117704&coll=DL&dl=ACM&CFID=34488375&CFTOKEN=76560280

I downloaded the ACM.js code from the github and restarted FF. That had no effect. Also I looked into the DOI issues. But the DOI is present for that paper. I also looked into known translator issues, but that did not have ACM issues on it. I reinstalled the latest version of zotero but that too did not work.

This problem might have been discussed many times. I did my best to search every place but could not find a solution. Please help.
  • works for me on the branch. There is a small chance that something got fixed in Zotero that makes this work, but more likely this is on your end - make sure you really do have the most recent translator installed and have restarted Firefox. Make sure you have followed all the steps here
    http://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues
if all else fails, send an error report and post the ID here as directed at the bottom of those instructions.

    Thanks for the quick help.
  • Seems like I am getting some "Permission denied" errors with the js script.
  • I deleted all of zotero's files and reinstalled it in a directory away from Windows OS directory and its working fine now.
