EBSCO Site Update

EBSCO has just rolled out some site changes that affect Zotero. Their developers are working on changes to the translator to make Zotero work nicely with it, and a solution should be ready very soon. You can follow the discussion at zotero-dev.

Dan: Can you please sticky this thread until the translator update is rolled out?

Please go to http://github.com/zotero/translators/raw/master/EBSCOhost.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data).

It should start working again. If this works for you, please post here.

There may still be some residual problems with some search results-- I'll be looking at those tomorrow.
  • How would one go about saving the file to the directory? I was able to locate the translator on github and find my directory. However, it is not clear to me how to save the gitub file. thanks!
  • The updated translator has already been pushed. Your copy of Zotero should auto-update within 24 hours, or you can update manually by clicking Update Now in the General pane of the Zotero prefs.
  • The updated translator does not seem to locate all search results for import.
I have everything between 20% to 90% listed when wanting to save to zotero.
  • There was an issue pushing the original translator. If you update again, it should be fixed.
