In 2.1.8 to a greater extent than in earlier versions, Zotero displays items in the wrong place. For example, an item from a different subfolder might appear in a new subfolder, or instead of a child note a duplicate of the parent item will appear. Restarting zotero corrects this problem temporarily.
I am using windows 7 and firefox 5.
