I have the latest version downloaded, but the journal articles in ProQuest do not have the zotero icon. The only way I have figured out how to get the info in is manually...:(
Here are two

Hey, just a heads-up for anyone still looking for ProQuest solutions. I'm reading newspaper articles and if I have the actual article view pulled up, Zotero doesn't see any biblio information to grab. It's presumably not correctly embedded in the page. If you go to the "citation view" (NOT "Cite This" option!!!!) over by the "PDF view" (and in the case of newspapers, "page map view") you'll get an HTML biblio record that has the Zotero-readable metadata embedded. Then, after grabbing the data, click "back" to view your article again, and save the PDF. Not ideal, but the fastest workaround I've come to.
I'll try to get back to working on this when my institution moves to the new version of ProQuest. In the meantime, angwe's solution may be the best one. Sorry for the hassle.
Hm... I'm not getting one-click zotero options even from citation view, not on any of the dozens of documents I've viewed yesterday and today. (That said, I just tried milliken's link, and it worked for me.
I am using the latest versions of both zotero and firefox (which include 2 proquest translators: legacy and 2, though I also added the most recent version of the one linked above, to no avail). None of the dozens of dissertations I have looked up on my own have worked thus far. I'll use arlobee's workaround for now, but would love to see this fixed.
My institution is going to move to to the new Proquest interface. I have added manually the translator recommanded by agilyon to the translators directory to my Zotero. It works to capture a reference. But to capture a list of references the translator ProQuest Legacy.js is broken. Can you help me?
So, is this solution working for everyone? I followed the directions in post 50 above and still can't get the 'save' icons (document, or folder) to appear in my browser when I'm in proquest dissertations.
thank you for this info. i saved the file as instructed, restarted, etc., but for some reason there's still no icon in the URL bar, which is what i was hoping for. can you think of anything i might have missed? thanks.
also, if you're on windows, check that the file is actually saved as .js and not as .js.txt - when I was exiled to a windows machine I found it impossible to convince the OS to actually save as .js.
Then restart Firefox.

Is that enough?

Here are two links that do not work for me: 1 - 2

Thanks to all for your help!
Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/ProQuest 2.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data).
It should start working again. If this works for you, please post here so that I can submit this change to be pushed to all users.
Thanks in advance
