SPAN COIns urlencode

Have a reference containing accentuation in title

"Les arts de la mémoire.. " in Refbase database...

Urlencode in SPAn is correct in refbase

Les arts de la mémoire..

But urldecode in Zotero is not correct.... as well on screen than after import.

Is there a solution?

Best regards
  • Can you provide an example URL?
  • with pleasure!!

  • sorry and also on stable version

  • Refbase is URL-encoding an HTML eacute entity:

    m%26eacute%3Bmoire
The original value should just be URL-encoded, which is what the COinS generator does:

    m%C3%A9moire
  • I contacted Quoniam off-list to let him know the changes needed in refbase to disable the use of html entities.

Is there any disadvantage in having Zotero decode html entities in COinS, though? Some OpenURL resolvers do this. And Zotero must be more liberal than accepting the COinS generator output. I think there was a discussion on the topic of url encoding COinS on the gcs-pcs list a while back & that the consensus was that the spec wasn't explicit & that processing systems should therefore be robust....
