Chinese editor in bibliography
Hi there,
even only one editor, e.g., 编者, for a book, the APA or Chicago manual style give the following output:
编者 (Eds.)
编者, eds.
it should be
编者 (Ed.)
编者, ed.
In Zotero, the editor item is: 编者,(first), i.e., first name is undefined. In Chinese, the name (represented in Chinese characters) can not be separate into last name and first name. In order to get correct citation in text, the whole name is pushed into last name field.
How to get correct result?
Any suggestions or comments are really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

On Chinese names, have you tried putting the family name and given name in separate fields? The processor should still format the name correctly, according to Chinese conventions, when the full name is rendered.
I have tried putting the family name and given name in separate field, e.g., 者 in given name field, and 编 in family name field. In the bibliography. The final output is 编者 (Ed.),however, in text, the citation is (编, 2000).
