New item type, "standard" and/or "specification"
So, today I went and added a bunch of standards/specifications/recommendations to my Zotero library.
The trouble is, there is not a type that fits these types of documents. I ended up using both webpage, and report, depending on the particular document I was recording. However, neither are really appropriate.
The biggest issue I have is that there is not an option for "editor" which can be used multiple times. (Indeed, it is often the case that I want to list an editor/s for simple webpages as well, which also isn't an option.)
Three examples of the type of specifications/standards are:
* http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG11/
* http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/REC-html401-19991224/
* http://www.adobe.com/products/dng/pdfs/dng_spec.pdf

Perhaps relevant is: <http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/16945/custom-item-types/#Item_2>, but it doesn't say exactly. I can't really understand the discussion linked to from that thread.

I will enter these as reports. A citation for these standards would not include the editor, so I do not anticipate having the problem described by the original poster.
Editor is available for use in the Document type.
I often add ISO documents and CIE standards (see link) and there doesn't seem to be a particularly appropriate way to do this.
Has this problem been solved in the 6 years since last comment?
