I think this was caused by an invalid regexp in the NYTimes translator. You can try resetting translators in Zotero Preferences->Advanced. If that doesn't work, delete the translators subdirectory in your Zotero data directory.
r8685 will not work for me. Same problem described here. Upgraded to FF4.0 yesterday, but FF would not start. In safe mode, removing Zotero will allow start. Trunk working fine until yesterday.
